The next episode previews from Rooftop Prince have disappeared.
The fifth episode of SBS’ Rooftop Prince, which aired on April 4, revealed prince Lee Gak’s (Park Yoo Chun) declaration to live as the third generation business magnate, Yong Tae Yong.
Embracing his reincarnation as Yong Tae Yong, Lee Gak ordered his henchmen to stop calling him as ‘His Highness’. In addition, he also carried out a tearful haircut ceremony for his henchmen and himself in order to adjust to their new modern lives.
Near the end of the episode, Lee Gak showed his romantic side and asked Park Ha (Han Ji Min) to call off her trip to the U.S., ushering in the start to their new their relationship and raising the anticipation of viewers.
In particular, the episode brought much laughter to the viewers with scenes like the careless ancestral ceremony, the tearful haircut ceremony and Lee Gak-Park Ha’s whipped cream scene.
However, the disappearance of the drama’s charming preview (of the next episode) left many viewers wanting more. Moreover, they voiced concerns over the production crew’s hasty editing job as soon as the filming was completed, which was tantamount to a ‘live shoot’.
Live shoots essentially mean the filming of dramas are cut so close, that the actors are often burnt out before the end of the drama and are given no opportunity to rest.
Many viewers left their comments on a Rooftop Prince forum saying, “After seeing the latter part of the episode, it seemed like a ‘live-shoot’ and that is a bit worrisome,” and “I was shocked to see a commercial right after [the end of the episode]. At least show us the bloopers like last time.”Photo credit: SBS Credit: eNewsWorld Shared by: iLoveTVXQ5
